Organizational Flag, Troop Command, Rhode Island Army National Guard. State National Guard Troop Commands provide peacetime command, control and support for the state's National Guard units. Usually they also plan, command and control purely state missions such as disaster relief and riot control. Troop Commands have flags of the same pattern as those authorized for specified commannds of the Army: "national flag" blue field with yellow fringe and the authorized shoulder sleeve insignia centered.
